Course overview
This degree develops theoretical knowledge and applied technical skills in cybersecurity, enhanced through artificial intelligence. Students study computer systems and networks, programming for cybersecurity, digital forensics, software security, security operations, ethical hacking, governance, risk and compliance, and applied AI for cybersecurity through practice-focused, industry-informed teaching.
Entry requirements
Standard entry requires 96 UCAS tariff points from three A Levels or equivalent, for example CCC. Alternatives listed include Irish Leaving Certificate BBCCC, Scottish Highers BBCCC, BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma DMM in a related subject, or International Baccalaureate Diploma with 24 points. Applicants need at least three GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including English and Maths. IELTS 6.0 Academic or equivalent is required for applicants who need to evidence English. Foundation entry requires at least 40 UCAS tariff points.
