University of Greenwich Scholarships
You may be eligible to apply for a range of scholarships if you are joining us in September 2026 or January 2026. Scholarships are awarded whereby eligibility is based on overseas fee payer status and cannot be combined with UK or home scholarships.
Up to £3,000 tuition fee discount for international students in their first year.
Eligibility:
- You must have been offered a place to begin a course in April 2026.
- You will pay fees at the international rate.
- You are not receiving any other scholarships from the University or another source.
Payment of this award is by way of a tuition fee reduction for the first year of study. The award cannot be used in lieu of your deposit payment.
Applicants must pay their tuition fee deposit within 28 days of confirmation of the scholarship award.
Up to £700 (10% discount) on first-year accommodation fees.
Eligibility:
- You must be a new student entering year 0 or 1 of undergraduate studies in September 2026.
- You must reside in the university’s halls of residence and be up to date with all payments.
- Your household income must be below £25,000.
The bursary is only applicable for the first year and cannot be awarded in subsequent academic years.
Discretionary financial help up to £1,000 for unforeseen short-term costs.
Eligibility:
- You must be an international fee-paying student or EU student not receiving a maintenance loan.
- You must have below £500 in all bank accounts.
- You must be fully registered, with all fee payments up to date.
The fund supports unforeseen accommodation, subsistence, technology, or travel costs.
Up to £8,000 tuition fee reduction for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Eligibility:
- You must submit your deposit payment before 15th March 2026 via the Convera platform.
Scholarship Value:
- £8,000 for undergraduate students (£4,000 for Year 1, £2,000 for Years 2 and 3).
- £4,000 for postgraduate students.
The scholarship is automatically applied upon registration and enrolment.
